How to make a Flap Over Tea Wallet

You will need pieces of fabric;  10 1/2" long by a fat 4" wide and a 7" piece of 1/4" wide ribbon. Cut a curve in one end.

Stack as shown with the ribbon about 1 1/2" off from the straight side.

Pin and sew around all the edges. Open one side seam about 2" and turn the wallet inside out OR leave an opening when you sew.

Clip corners and turn.  Press flat..

Fold and pin as shown. Test to be sure the curved edge goes through the flap.

Sew up one side and down the other. It looks pretty with a decorative stitch.

You may or may not wish to decorate it with a button. It's cute either way.
