 I love refashioning vintage linens- giving them a new life, getting those
lovely linens out of hiding and living among us again. Maybe those charming old lovely things
will become a tote bag, a tea cozy, a sachet pillow, an apron or some Friendship Tea
Bags. I can usually work around tiny flaws. Don't let those lovelies
stay stuck in a box or jammed in a drawer.

(2) Made with Green Fabric # 2 is embellished with crochet arm antimacasser (3) Made with Yellow Stripe Fabric Mix # 7 is embellished with crochet place mat. (4) (5)      Vintage Hankie Gift Bags are $7.25 The first row has two gift bags made from small cross stitch bureau sets. The second row shows gift bags made from a single hankie, folded and then stitched into shape. As you can see, the hankie edges show age. I didn't want to risk treating them. Actually I like the gentle look on those sweeties. The last row on right shows two bags made from a vintage table napkin. Only one of the bag has embellishment in the corner.
