Are you real or a made up character?
I assure you I'm a real person. Rae is my real name. This site represents who I am and
my talents.
To get to know me a little better you may read the
feature article about me in the 2010 December issue of Tea in Texas Magazine.
I was thrilled to be asked to do this interview and am also thrilled to be advertising with them as well. Yee Ha! Tea in Texas!
Are you really a Grandmother?
YES! I've got 7 grandchildren - 5 boys and 2 girls. Some are in New Jersey where I live and some are in Texas.
Do you really make this stuff?
YES! ALL WORK is custom, made to order. I enjoy sewing, both hand and machine sewing. Nothing makes me happier than creating something for someone.
I don't job out my sewing work. When you send me your email request, I'm the one making whatever you requested. And I am a busy bee!
Tour my Sewing Room
Exceptions: My friends make some of the products - the hankie gifts, little tea dolls,
pretty paper gifts and embroidery work. My husband makes the stained glass pieces.
I found this cute fabric. Will you make me a cat?
Of course! If you have found a fabric in the store that you just love, I'd be happy to use it to make you a cat, or
a Tea Wallet or an apron or whatever you'd like.
I like "X" but will you make it bigger, smaller, taller, wider, with a pocket, without a pocket.....?
YES! I'm happy to make any changes. Or I will create something special for you.
I was wondering... I own a Tea Shop. May I purchase wholesale from
you?
As of December 2012 I am no longer taking on any new wholesale
customers. If you would like to purchase my products, you may...at
the price shown online.

Why don't you have a Shopping Cart?
Actually it's a long boring story. The short version is my products aren't "cookie cutter" - they are custom
made with infinite variations. The good news is - I accept credit cards. When you've figured out what you'd like
to buy, send me an email with your phone number. I will call you and take your credit info.

Where is your store?
I do not have a "Bricks & Mortar" store. I am online ONLY I
often get asked if I will open my own "walk-in" shop
in the future. No. I have no plans to do anything other than an
online store. I continue to expand my product line so that you
will have more personally made gifts.
Do you have a catalog?
A physical catalog? No. Perhaps I will some day. Right now the best way to see ALL of my products
is to grab a cup of tea and browse my full product line.
How long have you been in business?
I was in business long before I was online. My business began in 2002. My online store began in 2007.
I like XYZ fabric. Will you sell it to me?
I'm not a fabric store. I use my fabrics to make things for others. If you can't find the fabric anywhere
else I'll sell you some - limit of 2 yards.
I purchase a limited amount of each fabric
(no more than two bolts) so that I won't be sewing on
the same fabric until my eyes cross with boredom and you won't see your tea cozy on everyone else's table.
What if I don't like what I bought?
In the unlikely case that you are not pleased with your purchase, as long as it is a stock item made with my fabric,
you may return it within 30 days.
Here's what I do with my scraps
I try to make one quilt a year with my scraps. My quilts are
not show pieces. With the exception of the silk quilt I made
from my husband's ties, my quilts are utility blankets, made to
be used and used up. They are all colorful scrap pattern
blankets to keep you warm in winter.
